Stress and tension. When relaxing no longer comes naturally.

A busy mind, a restless body or lying awake when you are tired. You want to find space in your day again. At Energy Clinics in Uden, you can discuss how sleep, tension and energy relate in your situation.

Which symptoms might you recognise?

Stress does not feel the same for everyone. The conversation therefore focuses on concrete moments: an evening spent worrying, a workday that exhausts you or a weekend when you do not recover. Individual signs do not establish a diagnosis.

  • Difficulty switching off after work or other responsibilities.
  • Sleeping poorly or waking tired.
  • Becoming overstimulated more easily and finding it harder to sustain attention.
  • Tension increasingly affecting your daily activities.

Stress, stress-related exhaustion and burnout are not the same

Temporary tension is part of life. If it persists and ordinary activities become difficult, it is important to seek help. Your GP can assess whether stress-related exhaustion, burnout or something else is involved. Tiredness alone is not enough to diagnose burnout. Read our explanation of burnout and exhaustion.

Consider both demands and opportunities for recovery

We ask about your routine, responsibilities and what you already try to help you unwind. The aim is not to add another list of obligations. Choose one change that matters to you for the conversation, such as calmer evenings or energy left for home. An occupational physician can also help with work-related symptoms.

What role can Energy Clinics play?

During an introduction, we discuss your questions about sleep and energy. If a complementary treatment is considered, we explain why it might fit and what the uncertainties are. NESA is not a proven solution for burnout and does not replace psychological treatment or support addressing the causes of overload. The outcome may also be that other care is more suitable, without starting a treatment programme.

What to bring to the conversation

You do not need a detailed report. A few examples from your week help make your question concrete.

  • When do you feel the most tension, and when less?
  • How is your sleep, and what is harder during the day?
  • What support do you already receive, and how is it helping?
  • Which goal would you like to discuss first?

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know whether I have burnout?

No. You can discuss your concerns without diagnosing yourself. If you suspect burnout, discuss this with your GP as well.

Can treatment remove the cause of my stress?

A device does not change workload, worries or other causes of tension. That is why we always consider complementary treatment in the context of your wider situation.
